They called me talking about they are a felony collection agency.. Is this a fraud

There is no debt agency that collects on felonies.  Any time a debt collector threatens you or claims to be part of a law agency, they are a fraud. Report them to the Federal trade commission.   Best way to determine if they are real is to ask them for their mailing address. If they refuse or become aggressive then they are fake. Never admit to a debt until you see documentation regarding the debt. If in doubt contact the original creditor about the debt. If you want to make good on a debt always go back to the original debtor, I had an old credit card debt from a couple years ago that I forgot about, they were more than happy to take my payment, pissed the 3rd party collector off.
