Just got a call from this number. Person on the other end says she’s calling for Cox business. I was gonna receive a gift card for $50 for being a loyal customer. She first needed to verify who I was (she called me), I let her ramble on about my address  and email. I neither confirmed or denied this info. She quickly moved to asking me a “just a few” quick questions. I hung up on her and blocked the number.

Left a voicemail saying that for being a loyal cox customer I would get a free gift and to call back at this number 1-833-227-7033. This is a scam! No corporate business will ever call you, legally it all has to be sent via mail.

Fake Cox Business. Block it.

Receive call from 833-227-7033.  Could not understand what the person said.

To Future Readers and Posters - Be very careful about calls from this number, the script used is like what a Phishing Scammer would use.

absolute scam. the first thing they asked for was my boss with wrong name and then asked if I would give them our cox account pin number.. no way!!  I was born at night..but not last night!!
