SCAM!!!! Can't believe these people are allowed to get away with this crap. Our GOV does zero to stop it because it's big business with LOBBYISTS!

Claim there American Express, The information they had and I knew didn’t add up I block this number and reported them to American Express

A   nigerian  thick accent african  called me  claims they are  from american experess   not sure how  they got my hp and my cell phone  833 308 0105 i have no american express account and would not spend a second talking to this scammer

They have called multiple times but do not leave a message.  I blocked my number and called them back.  Very thick Indian accent answered and claimed to be with American Express.  He wanted my name and my phone number which I would not give him.  We have an AMEX card but it is not used.  I checked the card before I called.

I blocked this number before, but they keep leaving message as American Express asking for my information. I do not have AE account. this person has very thick Indian or African accent. Scammer

Says he was from AMEX. Called me a Mother****** when I told him I was going to report him.

This is actually, legitimately, American Express Collections. They farm out their collections to Indian call centers. BLOCKED. Idiots.

incoming call displayed "Account Services" and how that was done without such a contact listed in my phone is troubling.   I got the same call as described above.  badly trained scammer - paused before answering, just gave name, asked for my spouse not me, only after I pressed did he say he was from AE, with whom we have no account.  Sent him off with a spicy Christmas F-bomb.

This is a fake American Express number. I called and reported them to American Express.  They had no record of them calling me.

Called my cell number two mornings in a row, March 8th and 9th, same Asiatic caller, asking for a return call to discuss my AMEX account (I don't have an AMEX account).  The inbound call was from (833) 308-0105.  The return call number provided was a different toll free number: (877) 434-3248.  I didn't return the call and blocked the number.

Called landline about 3 hours ago, didn't leave message. Caller ID NAME "Account Services".
* Many www reports indicate this is a SCAM CALLER pretending to be AMERICAN EXPRESS.
Reported number to my blocking svc as SCAM.

I received a call from this number today.  They claimed to be from American Express and had a very thick Indian accent.   They got aggressive and angry and were demanding money.
