Wanda Morris internet shutdown scam. Is the CRTC too useless to shut these morons down?

Call said that internet wu would be disconnected due to serious problems on my computer and to press 1 to tals to someone to prevent disconnection. Obvious scam.

As stated in the other posts, a female voice warned me that my router had been hacked and my Wi-Fi internet was going to be immediately shut off unless I pressed  1 or stayed on the line. I mean really.

Would be nice to find out who personally in India or China is behind this and hack them. You know compromise their router and such and demand ransom.

Computer voice talking of a internet disconnection because they have found some unusual activities that are taking place through my internet IP address... Press one now to get support, thank you. Ya right!

The recorded message I got from this number claimed to be calling from Amazon. That'll be the day when Amazon calls me!

Received this phishing robocall voicemail: An order of iPhone XR has been placed using your account information for $749, and it seems to be a suspicious activity. If you haven't placed this order, please call immediately on our Amazon customer service number 833-404-1092. I repeat 833-404-1092.

This time I was told 'she' was from Amazon and someone had used my credit to buy a $749.00 item. I don't answer unknown numbers. Call went to recorder.

ROBOT Female Voice msg on my unlisted number.  Said to call Amazon support at 8334041092 for a suspicious purchase in the amount of $749.

A message saying they are from amazon and a suspicious order has been placed and they need to confirm.

Received a call from them on my answering machine. Female recorded voice said $749 purchase was made for Isomax RX from Amazon and the purchase seemed to be suspicious. called Amazon and they told me no such purchase was made.  SCAM NUMBER.
