- Bill| 2 repliesThey said they were from transunion but maybe not.
- Caller: Transunion?
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- BigA replies to BillCredit bureaus do not call you. You call them.
- Jahsun replies to BillI agree, first we texted, but the person used really poor grammar, not an English speaker, trying but not succeeding. Sadly I followed a link because it showed up after reporting something suspicious on my credit report to TransUnion, it said it was TransUnion, which it seems to be but still they didn't help at all , took extremely long between replies, kept going back to same phrases and made a bunch of glad grammatical errors. I just can't imagine TransUnion having such flunkies manning their fraud desk. Wierd.
- Jahsun| 2 repliesFirst got this as a text, supposedly TransUnion, but after responding to it, because I had recently reported fraudulent address on my credit record, but it was wierd. Lots of inconsistent run around. Taking a very long time between messages, with extremely poor English. I didn't realize this until I had followed a link to verify my identity. And now I am worried. This chat with Jenny, supposedly a person, was disjointed and her English was very poorly composed and reminded me of speaking with Asian speaker who aren't familiar with the connecting words or correct verb form and tenses. Watch out. Somehow , even though it's is supposedly TransUnion number, they able to spoof it or something. They need busted.
