Guy left voicemail message from an unknown number......but showing up as unknown@emaildomain.comverse and saying his name is Mark Johnson and he's a Private Locator trying to give me some sealed documents that I need to sign for but saying to call this number 833 479 1040

Same! want me to prove 2 forms of ID and have a witness to get me some legal documents or threatening to show up at my place of work.

Yep same person. It’s a collection agency. Threatened me with attaching my house and personal property. I said get in line. Lol Can’t bleed a stone. Really rude people!!!

Got a horrifying cal from 1-833-479-1040 on caller i.d . Was told I will be receiving served papers within the hour at my work and if I'm not there, my home. Said I needed 2 forms of ID and a supervisor to sign off as a witness (!). Then left a different number to call back 1-833-620-1636 with a " file number ". When googled both numbers it says it's a scam. But it's pretty convincing.
My lawyer told me thiss will never ever happen by voice mail or phone. If you are in legal trouble you are first sent a certified letter and then served by law enforcement. That is the legal way to collect a debt or be served legal papers.

Same here, definitely sounded like a script and her voice sounded dry as a stone. I was thinking 🤔 why would anyone be serving me anything hence I didn’t bother to call them back do a happy hunting to them 😂😂😂

Real process servers don't call in advance.

Also received the same calls as above and had them call at 6:30 in the morning!
