Scam from a bogus Toll Free number.  Research indicates "No match found for this number"

Update.  Amazon scam from a bogus Toll Free number that does not exist:

“Dear Customer this call is from Amazon customer support.  This is to notify you regarding your todays purchase on Amazon dot com.  You have been charged $149.99 on your Visa card.  If you have made this purchase on Amazon dot com and recognize it then simply hang up and your order will be delivered to you.  However, if you have not made any such transaction then press one to cancel Or press 2 for more information.”

Amazon Customers need only log into their account online.  These dolts want your credit card number so they can steal from you.  DON’T fall for it.

I got this automated call too.  Amazingly enough, I spent exactly the same amount you spent on your "purchase".  e.e  I simply hung up on them.

Bogus Amazon/VISA order scam from a robocaller. Exact same thing as noted by Rush before.

My elderly Mother got the same call today unfortunately she pressed 1 before hanging up.

Just got this call a couple of minutes ago. Got me thinking if I mistakenly purchased something from Amazon.ca as I was online browsing for some stuff a few minutes ago. Just hang up when the recording was asking me to press 1 and went straight to my laptop to google this number. Glad I did! Lots of crooks out there!

Robocall with Amazon scam about large credit card purchase.

BS call from Amazon. Well, not Amazon but a robo claiming to be Amazon

Same Amazon scam . Amazon said it was a foreign number

Not sure why they said that when it's clearly a toll-free number.

Call from a man early morning supposedly to verify Amazon purchase for a few hundred dollars. When I said I didn't recognize it, they sent me to a "survey center" to have the purchase cancelled. Someone said something in the background and he hung up. I checked my Amazon account and their was no such purchase. At least their using real people and not robots now LOL. It's a scam. I'm sure they would need my credit card info "to properly assist you". Just hang up if unsure.

Called @2:03pm PT. Did not answer. No message.
