Text and calls leaves message it is urgent call back regarding a pending case but no other information this is a scam

Texted that I needed to call due to a pending case. Called and they tried to tell me I owed $2700 for a personal loan . Never took out a personal loan. BEWARE!

Texted and called. Urgent. Is a scam.

My dad received a call asking for me by my maiden name and he sent me the recording which was quite demanding, shortly after I received a text with pending case number stating Paige Novak was trying to reach me and to call back with this number listed.

Called and said I took out a personal loan. Let them know the only loan I had was for my car and that any other loans were fraud. Also had filed bankruptcy a few years back and that anything owed would have been taken care of.

I Received the same text.

Me, too! I’ve received a threatening “last text” today. 🙄

They also left a vague and demanding aggressive sounding voicemail on my husband’s phone for me.

I told him if they were legit (I have no delinquent bills) they would send a notice to the house.

Definitely a scam. It’s that time of year.

Received threatening text, google search says this is all a scam (and Reddit), ignoring them and reporting
