    This number called me pretending to be my local county clerks office saying that they were going to serve me papers on a certain day at my home. They had my name, address, and social.

    That is one of the scripts that the Process Service Scammers use.
    Read the OP carefully and thoughtfully. It is a "law firm" that pretends to be calling from a county clerks office. That is NOT how you are legally notified of anything - not a phone call. The scam is that they shake you down for $$$$ so that you don't "get served."
    Ignore the call. Do not call back. Calling back only gets you more calls that will become threatening and harassing. What they are doing is illegal.
