Sent a text to say this was the last attempt to resolve my account. Sent from a number 855-449-0288

They keep calling that i have an unresolved account, when i ask who they are they said I should know since its my debt. They text me today stating it was final attempt and to call 833-669-6840. Damn Scammers!

Call and leave messages & send text saying Last Attempt to Resolve Debt.  Never give company name.  No mail correspondence.  True legitimate businesses don't work that way

Rec'd the following text message: “MY NAME (in caps) This is our office's final attempt to resolve your account. Please Reference JDR### and call us back immediately at 833-669-6840 Thank You” Finally called the number and was told he was John from Bradley & Weinstein (I think - he was hard to understand). But when I asked him to spell it, he asked me to verify my name. I refused and hung up. Definitely a scammers.

I got the same text with my name in cap and when i called they gave me an address and a job i had 10 years ago and wouldnt tell me anymore with verifying y social. They are not listed on my credit report and i would urge people to contact an attorney for fdcpa violations as they are texting with out permission or a way to unsubscribe which is the law

There's no point in contacting your attorney about those violations unless you have their legal name and business address. And if you have that, please share it here.

They are texting me they even had my husbands name really creepy they said final attempt to reach you

Used my full name to text me and then referenced some account I have no clue about. I blocked them. Damn scam calls are getting outrageous!

I have no idea who this is. Texted saying offices final attempt to resolve account. Gives reference# and phone # 833-669-6840. I have a cousin who is an attorney and she tried to contact them. When she identified herself and ask for information they hung up. She said to not respond that if it was legitimate they would send a registered letter where it would have to show you received it. This is a scam!

Type "Stop" on text they send and you get this...
NETWORK MSG: You replied with the word "stop" which blocks all texts sent from this number.

Text back "unstop" to receive messages again.

Thats how you know its a robocall/text

My cousin is an attorney and she called the number, identified herself on my behalf, ask for company name and they hung up on her. Nothing she can do without a company name. She said this is what scammers do and to ignore it

Threatening phone calls and texts from 833-669-6840 state a reference number trying to resolve an issue with my account no reference as to what it is.

just got the same text, if its a business why are they not calling..

Received the same text today. Referred to me by my maiden name🤷‍♀️

Received following text from nbr (855) 449-0288, "(My name in ALL CAPS) This is our office's final attempt to resolve your account.  Please Reference JDO17161 and call us back immediately at 833-669-6840 Thank You" ...I did not respond however blocked. I don't know of any business that I have had business w/ever texting me. I usually receive an email and/or letter via USPS. This is a SCAM. I advise not to respond.

Received a text message with my name in all caps saying this was the last attempt to resolve my account.  The number to call back was 866-669-6840.  Replied "Stop" to block texts.
