Always asks for Jessie Quinn.  Get messages for Jessie too...  I have had this number for 6 years.  They finally said they would stop calling.  This being the 10th time telling them. I don't know Jessie Quinn.

You should expound on that.  They do have to verify if they are talking to the alleged debtor otherwise they could be sued.

You will need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt, and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.  

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

These people don't stop.  They are scammers. Did my research and they are just as bad as portfolio recovery. I'm not interested and i don't have anything they want or need. I am never going to give them anything snd I'm going to press charges.

November 13, 2020 called me 2x today, but I already had this number in my contacts under Zpam from before today.  Unsolicited call.  I did not answer.  BEWARE!  THIS IS NOT A REAL DEBT COLLECTOR.  They are after something else.  (Maybe they are just trying to compile a list of working numbers.)
    I know it is not a real debt collector, because I have no debts.

Whitefield associates left a message saying it was an important debt collection message. I don't have any debts and I have not received any letters regarding debts. I'm assuming this is a scam.

Wakefield & Associates left me a voice mail saying that I had debts. I checked my credit reports and have no outstanding debts. This is a scam.

Caller I.D. says they are Amazon Delivery!!!  I only answered because I'm expecting a call from a dr. office.  I said I'm not expecting anything from Amazon.   That's when she asked me to verify d.o.b.  I only verified my name but when she asked for d.o.b.& said she's with Wakefield I hung up.  Blocked another one.  At least this one spoke intelligible English.

Just think, you could have sued them on that alone and gotten lots of money from them.
