From what I've seen online this is a debt collector calling about past due medical bills. The thing is the medical bills they are likely calling for belong to my mom and are in dispute with the insurance as the insurance claims my mom should have medicare when she is actually ineligible for (she only has 30 out of 40 credits). We have been fighting them now for a year on these bills.

Your dispute is with the insurance company and not the medical facility.  The medical facility wants to get paid so they turned you over to a debt collector.

It don't matter who the dispute is with. The fact of the matter is the hospital should be helping my 74 year-old mother to resolve this. They would have gotten paid if the insurance didn't f***ing lie that she had medicare when she was never eligible.

Soooo......it was a debt collector that called, any idea who they are?  That would be something other people looking up this number might be interested in, not the dispute with who should have paid in the first place.

From what I've seen on other sites its Receivable Solutions. I can't confirm if that is true since all caller ID says is Toll Free and we don't answer unknown numbers.

Hey, thanks for stopping back. I too found some reports elsewhere on the internet, but hoped you might have had first hand knowledge.  I found these names reported by others :

Century Financial Services (Oct. 2021)
Financial Services (Feb. 2022)
Call back number: 877-249-2168 - Receivable Solutions
Call back number: 866-295-8722 - Lake (or Wake) Med Health and Hospitals

Either the number is being spoofed by multiple debt collectors or the same outfit is using multiple names.

My phone automatically labels it as potential spam and never rings.

This number called and no one responded when I answered.  Found information on the web that it is either a debt collector (no debts) or someone trolling for Health Care sign-up.  Either way, this number is BLOCKED.

They asked for me by name, I asked who they were calling for, I hung up when they said Receivable Solutions. ( I only answered because the number looked similar to a doctor's number I was waiting on)

First response was labeled debt collector.  Try reading

Would not identify themselves or their intent.  I would not confirm any of my info to them.

Your reading comprehension is horrible.  He wanted to know what the name of the debt collection company is which would be a lot more useful and helpful than simply saying "debt collector".  Plus that person who he replied to reports an abnormal amount of debt collection calls from so many different debt collectors that it is hard to keep track of all of them.
