Called during the Super Bowl. Claimed she was from the Texas Department of health and asked for my name and DOB, but when I asked her name, she refused to tell me. This number is being  "spoofed" because legitimate health department employees or contract workers are allowed to identify themselves.

they just kepping calling me

Called Christmas Day.  Asked for my name & DOB. I said you called me. She stated she needed it to verify who she was calling. Again, you called me, so you obviously know who I am. Put me on hold & I hung up on her. Has called multiple times since. Not answering. NOT THEIR BUSINESS!

They are calling you from the TExas Department of State Health Services, either to let you know you've had a potential exposure to COVID (so you can quarantine to prevent from possibly spreading to others), or because you tested positive for covid and they're following up with you to collect info about your symptoms and contacts, and to help direct you to helpful resources.

They said the number wrong or you misheard it. IT's 833-853-0909

They called on christmas because there are no days off for the Texas Health Trace. Either you were exposed to someone who had covid or you tested positive. They ask you to confirm the info so they have the right person. Would you want someone to tell your wife "I'm calling about joe's STD test results" if she didn't know you were tested?

Said was from Dshs but told her before I release anything need a letter in the mail with number so I can call to release information . That’s the proper way due to many scammers
