- DotKeeps calling does not leave a voice mail
- DWThey keep calling, so I answered. Wanted my date of birth. To confirm it was me. They would not tell me why they called. Till I give some info. Told no and hung up. They are ? Something? Solutions.
- TJ| 1 replyI got a calll from this number and I normally don’t answer numbers I don’t know. A lady with a foreign accent asked me to confirm my name and birthdate when I ask what this was in reference to she said that she needed to confirm my identity first. I told her that I don’t give personal information over the phone then he hung up. She said that she from Radius Global Solutions.
- Caller: Radius Global Solutions.
- BigA replies to TJThey are a debt collector and it looks like they have followed the law so far.
- JTI regularly receive calls from this number. They never leave a message. Not sure why they keep calling.
- Caller: Radius Global
- Call type: Unwanted
- Barry LI received a call from them too. They never leave a voicemail. So I answered they call themselves Global Radius Solution. The second time I’ve spoke with a guy he asked for my information I asked what company are you from? He stated Global Radius Solutions. I told him I never heard of them. Then he hung up Then first time I answered a lady was in the phone and requested my information. I asked who was she and from what company. She refused to give me any information including her company until I gave her my information. That’s not following the law. She should give the company name at least. I told her that with so many scams going on I don’t give personal information out over the phone. I told her that she will need to send something in the mail, which is also required by law. She then hung up on me. It’s been over two months and still nothing in the mail. If they are legitimate why do they keep hanging up, not leaving a voicemail or sending a letter in the mail which is required by law.
- Caller: Global Radius Solutions
- Barry L| 3 repliesFirst they must identify where they’re calling from (company name) the first one refused until I gave them my information. Second I don’t then to only notify me by mail on the first call they didn’t. So yes they’re not following the rules.
§ 804. Acquisition of location information
Any debt collector communicating with any person other than the consumer for the purpose of acquiring location information about the consumer shall --
(1) identify himself, state that he is confirming or correcting location information concerning the consumer, and, only if expressly requested, identify his employer;
(2) not state that such consumer owes any debt;
(3) not communicate with any such person more than once unless requested to do so by such person or unless the debt collector reasonably believes that the earlier response of such person is erroneous or incomplete and that such person now has correct or complete location information;
(4) not communicate by post card;
(5) not use any language or symbol on any envelope or in the contents of any communication effected by the mails or telegram that indicates that the debt collector is in the debt collection business or that the communication relates to the collection of a debt; and
(6) after the debt collector knows the consumer is represented by an attorney with regard to the subject debt and has knowledge of, or can readily ascertain, such attorney's name and address, not communicate with any person other than that attorney, unless the attorney fails to respond within a reasonable period of time to communication from the debt collector.
15 USC 1692c - BigA replies to Barry L| 2 repliesInteresting how you failed to actually reply to me and then used a section of the FDCPA that simply does not apply to your situation (unless you purposely left out a lot of facts.) This is not a location call. They are not calling a third person since they are looking for you. FDCPA: https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/documents/pl ... actices-act.pdf
Refer to §805(a)(1,2,3).
Also §809.
Regarding §809 No first contact was made because you refused to identify yourself which is why they then discontinued the call. Now if you still want to dispute what I posted please cite some actual case law that would support your theories or you can simply admit that you are wrong which I doubt that you will ever do. - skamdeth replies to BigA| 1 replyProbably one of those folks who think only the laws they like apply to them... what's the term? "Sovereign citizen"?

- BigA replies to skamdethNo, it was a bait post. Posted the other day as "Jay" trying to start an argument and posting lots and lots of misinformation today to start an argument. I'm pretty sure it was our resident knucklehead that thinks it is a TV actor. This is the only way it could possibly get any attention.
