My phone caught this as a SPAM call, but I sent it to the screener anyway. They had my name, number, and the last 4 digits of my card. I immediately checked my account (NOT through their links/number) and saw there was no hold or suspicious activity as they claimed.

Received a call from this number just now. I didn't answer. That said I also like AB above got a text as well. For me the text was supposedly coming from a bank I have never done business with or even heard of and listed the last four digits of a card I've never used. It's possible it's the last 4 digits of a card for the previous owner of my phone number as I have gotten calls from various businesses in Nebraska looking for him. I've blocked both this phone number as well as the number the text came from.

They send my grandmother a letter in the mail telling her to call that number because of fraud. She called and they asked for her case number… when she  said what was on the paper they said it was wrong and needed her debit card number. I over heard and said no. Then they said they going to send a text with a verification code and to tell them the code. I hung up.

Sent a message that looks like this:

“ FreeMSG-First Interstate Bank 1-833-763-2033: Reply YES or NO if you used debit card ending 3640, GOSCOTLANDTOURS, $0.60. STOP to opt out” from this number: 372-68

Called twice, and keeps trying to make it look like someone is using my card.

I received a text to verify a transaction on my debit card. I did not answer the text and then received a telephone call asking for my ZIP Code which I provided. I was on hold for a few minutes, and there was no answer, so I decided to call my bank, they advised that this number is from MasterCard and then it was  a legitimate telephone call verifying to make sure  that particular transaction was not a fraud. So this telephone number is a legitimate telephone number.

I got the same call from yesterday and today. Sent me the same voicemail. I called my bank up and they told me there was nothing suspicious I made purchases from. That is bank fraud.

This # may be from a call center used by multiple banks so hackers are likely spoofing it. It's hit/miss whether the call you receive is legitimate so call your bank's card service phone # directly.

At 8am, I received a text from a 5-digit #: " FreeMSG-XXX Business Bank 1-833-763-2033: Reply YES or NO if you used debit card ending ####, AQUALINE, $53.92. STOP to opt out"

2 ½ hours later, I received a call to my cell, but it indicated it could be spam so I didn't answer. They left a voice message notifying me that my bank's fraud dept saw suspicious activity. They identified my name, the last 4 digits of my card, asked me to call this # then gave me a case number as well.

Rather than calling the 833 #, I called the one on the back of my card. I confirmed the attempted charges were fraudulent so they froze my card.
