I received a call from a private number asking for me by my maiden names. Not knowing who it was I said I was not said person. They then asked if they could leave a message and told me they were a process server and gave me this phone number to call and a case number. I tried to call the number from my google account and get a very vague voice mail. Still have no idea who it is or what they want or what I am being served for. I have tried repeatedly to call them over the last 2 days and have never gotten a liver person to talk to and I will not leave my name and phone number for someone that I do not know who it is.

Caller said they were with the County and they were going to serve me a summons at my place of employment within two days of the call. They said if I did not want them to serve me then I should call the petitioner at ‭(833) 821-0239‬ to resolve the issue prior to the day they were going to serve me. I ignored the call. Two days later they called me and said they were serving me at 2pm and that I should have two forms of identification and my supervisor should be present to serve as a witness. So I took the bait and called the number. It was a law firm and they were telling me they were going to enter a judgment against me for a debt from almost 20 years ago. They said I could pay 65% today and they would dismiss the lawsuit. I told him to send me a letter. He said “ok it will take some time as my paralegal is a little busy but I will call the county and tell them we are working through the issue and to stand down temporarily on the summons.”  I told him “no, by all means, let the county do what the are going to do.” He got mad and yelled at me “FINE!  I WILL SEE YOU IN COURT!” And hung up on me. No one ever showed up, nor did they send a letter notification. These are the worst scammers ever. What they are doing is highly illegal. It is illegal to threaten to sue at all for a debt that has gone past the statute of limitations, which is generally 4-6 years. Please do not agree to pay these scumbags a dime. They are criminals. Do not let them scare you. I will be filing a complaint against them.

    SCAM!!!!!

I received back to back calls from a Restricted number. I picked up on the second call and a man told me he was serving me a court summons next money to my office and home. He called me by my maiden name.  I told him i would not be available. He said i would have to call 833 821 0239 and reschedule OR find out what it is for. I called the number and Lavell Thomas said he was with Webster Monroe & Associates. I had to have him repeat it multiple times because he would mumble it. He wanted me to verify my SS#. I refused. he became agitated and said he would hang up on me if i didn't verify it with him. I hung up.

Got a Restricted call.  Didn't answer it.  Got a voice mail from Mr Davis saying he's coming to my house on Monday the 14th to serve papers. Or I can call 833-821-0239 and rectify the debt.
Stupidly I called and set up a payment plan with my card.  Seconds later my son called to tell me it's a scam and texted me this web site.  I cancelled my card within minutes and they got nothing.

Received a message from a "courier service" that is going to be coming to my place of employment or my home in 2 days to deliver a summons. I had no clue what it was in regards to. I have taken care of all of my past debt and if anything existed it is WELL past the statute of limitations. I called the number left for me. Lavelle Thomas answered. Said he needed to check who my arbitrator was for my case. Came back and said I am the arbitrator for your case and I am the senior arbitrator for the firm (and yet you didn't know you had my case, interesting). I told him I was wondering what the summons was in regards to and he said well, first I need to verify your birthdate. Asked me about the month and date. I said yes. He then asked for my birth year and I said just wait a minute. I was googling their Webster, Monroe and Associates company online. He then said do you not know your birth year? Ma'am... I said of course I do but all I called for was some information in regards to the case number and what I am being summoned for. He said I am trying to tell you that, but I need your birth year... I said I am not telling you. I will call you back when I have more information and I have researched your company a bit further.
Funny how the "courier service" sounds like a robotic voice that Mr. Thomas recorded. Scam. I am calling my non-emergency number in town to let them know I received this call. Do NOT give these people information. They should have it already. When you present a case number they should have the info.
About 1 minute after I hung up I received a phone call from another number.

I talked to the same guy.. lovelle thomas. he was confrontational and agitated and told me that i could pay a reduced amt for a debt he says is from 2008. told me that he had my birthday and ssn and asked for my debit card info. he actually told me “maam, if this was a scam, i could go take out a loan in your name with the information i have here in front of me.” why would a representative of a legal office EVER suggest such a thing??  i asked him to email me the documents pertaining to this summons or litigation or whatever he vaguely described it as, and he said it will take a few days. we shall see. he also said he was calling from a town near my hometown- told me he was local, but i called him out on it.
