A person by the name of Kevin Lyles started he was calling in regards to an acct that has been in collection for the past 11 years, stated  he was calling in behalf Hart Associate,  company name Vanguard,  I Block their number due to a diosrbited amount.., and he harassed me with taking me to court to pursue legal action.

877-763-1708 this person call and gave me the 833--883-2216, they are associated with Hart Associates and are forcing me to pay an account that is 11-12 years old. And threaten me to take me to court.

How exactly are they "forcing" you?

That makes more sense than what the other person posted.

I just got the same message from same number. Says my account is due. Threatening me with legal action.

They text me from (218) 292- 8772(JUST AS I THOUGHT ,WHAT EVERYONE ELSE IS SAYING, "A TOTAL SCAM!")
This is the message I received:

They had all of my information from my last address to what kind of vehicle I drive. They threatened to take me to court because the matter has turned into a civil dispute. They had two numbers the first number give you an option to opt out on calls and messages from the user. The second number is direct to the scammer pretending to be a debt collector

Yes it is a scam

Keep getting texts from various numbers for my husband saying he owes and since they've been unsuccessful in reaching him they will now pursue further action. I called from my number where they keep texting to tell them to stop. They asked why he hasn't paid the debt. I said I have no idea what it even is. They said Lake Normal Hospital for the amount of $4212 and he can settle now for $1983.61. I said well if he ever even used them it hasn't been in 20 years. So remove my number from whatever it is you're doing. They said "so should we pursue further action?" I said do whatever you want but this is too old to do anything about anyway. Leave me alone. This is the number they text from: 5206992320 and want us to call the same number all of you have listed above. Block and move on. Just think, if a bunch of people fell for it and paid them just the settlement amount (less than owed) they would make so much money! They do it because it works. Screw them. They need to get a real job.
