Fraudulent robocall claiming to be "Nick Johnson at the Tax Relief Group". Claims to be calling you because "... you are qualified for the Fresh Start Program..." to reduce your tax bill. Recording instructs you to call back at 949-787-5311.

Supposedly the call came from Nick Johnson who said (without using my name, so probably read off a script) that i qualified for a tax relief program. Name sounded fake and I don't owe taxes so...

Nick Johnson called about tax relief program.  Didn't mention my name or verify anything. I don't owe anything yet.

The call came from an unknown number twice but the voicemail listed a 1-800#. The phone barely rang but I received a voicemail stating, “Hey Nick Johnson here I'm with tax relief group I'm sorry that I missed you I tried to reach you because you're qualify for the fresh start program if you owe anything on taxes if you have some on file tax years any tax issues at all really we can assist I look forward to hearing from you you can call me back at 949-787-5311 and again if you owe on taxes we can help eliminate or reduce what you owe get everything settled up and completed give me a call 949-787-5311 again it's Nick Johnson tax relief group…”
