Called my number 14 times in the last two days.  Leaves no message.

Solicitations for fraternal order of police.  Asking for money before they even know who they are talking to.

According to charitycheck101.org there is a huge number of organizations with the name "fraternal order of police".

Some of these won't be 501(c)3 corporations, and your gift will not be deductible.

Some 601(c)3 corporations don't file enough to be rated on how they spend their money.

Be careful.  Ask them where they spend donations and how.  Ask them if they are a 501(c)3 corporation.  Better still, ask them to send you a flyer and a donation card.  If they won't do that, the people calling you may not even be the fraternal order of police

Thank you for the information. Received a call, but didn't answer after looking the number up here. No message was left...1st clue that it is a telemarketer call and not a legitimate charity.
