These calls will not stop!

they called unusually early on Saturday and today they've called twice in the past three hours.  I didn't answer.

Most recent call at 8:16 am.  I answer the phone and there's no one there.

I cannot get these people to remove me from their call list ven wen I o remove it does not happen

THEY'RE BACK !!!!!!.  I blocked these guys June of LAST YEAR and they seem to be back.  My Blocker keep the calls from ringing but it does let me see who tried to call on my Caller ID.  These people are a joke.  Save your money.

I will have to disagree with the word "always".  I was a telemarketer for Right to Work.  It is not a racquet, it is run by people with a cause, and a desire for businesses to be run Constitutionally, as well as individuals to be  protected.  I have also worked for American Leprosy Mission.  They keep a very small fraction to run commercials and pay for hourly rate for people who raise money for the vaccines, travel, and cures for people with leprosy.  amlep@leprosy.org.  We were asked that all the time.  You could probably say "most", but not "all".

I stand by what I said, any call center or telefund cold calling people today are "rackets".  They are all run for the explicit purpose of enriching the owner of the call center.  If they weren't then the majority of the money would go to the charity.  Also, I wouldn't brag about being a telemarketer since most people consider telemarketers to be lower than dirt.

I got off on a tangent.  Sorry. The Breast Cancer thing, I suspect it is mostly a money maker for deep pockets.  Breast Cancer could have been cured years ago, if they really wanted it to be.  Pharmaceutical companies will never allow that.  That is why I don't give to that organization. I think it is a hoax.

So you think medical researchers are delaying curing a deadly disease just so they can fundraise?! There are plenty of diseases they could fundraise for after they cure breast cancer, you know.

If you look up United Breast Cancer - there is a foundation with that name - sounds like they were legit in motivation and establishment - but they are sending a VERY small portion of funds raised to benefit cancer patients and their needs (ie: research). Probably better breast cancer charities that you can give to.

Got a call from this number. Didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number. Didn't leave a message, either.

Knew it was a telemarketer so I answered FBI Charleston field office.

This is a scam claiming to give money to breast cancer. They keep the money for themselves or it is a trick to get your credit card number.

I just got a call that sounded like a recording. The woman said breast cancer society and wanted a $20.00 donation. She kept trying to get me to say "yes" like the scam where you say yes and they have you saying yes to something completely different. I kept saying no. Then she wanted $15.00. I never answer these calls but they are calling more and more. I wanted to see who it was. I told her I already gave. Well isn't that nice she said, How about if i mail you out an envelope and you send back whatever amount you want. I again said no. I do not believe for one second it was the breast cancer society if there even is one.
