**SCAM** Just received a call from this number. I let it go to voicemail. Name they gave was John Lewis, no company name was given. They are reporting a formal complaint against me, but when they said my name it was automated.

This happened to me too. Did you figure out what it is?

This number has repeatedly rang my phone beginning a few days ago saying someone is wanted and if they do not call back then "they" the will file a formal complaint. The voice is an automated male voice. All responses above are the same as mine. I just received the call again today.

They keep calling my work and everyone I know and threaten me with a warrant out for my arrest. It’s a huge scam. It’s just an automated message.

They have called me numerous times.  They threatened to show up at my house with the US Marshalls.  I said go ahead.  I’ll have lemonade and some nibbly things all ready, I hope you like crumpets.  I asked what time they would be here and they said before 5.  I said “well hell stop harassing me and get on a flight.  I live in Illinois.  Remember to buy trial sizes of shampoo so they don’t get confiscated”  Then she said I’ll show up at your work tomorrow with the sheriff and US Marshall’s.  I said let me know what time and I’ll make popcorn.  It’ll be the most exciting thing that’s happened since Bertha slipped on pudding.  Then a man got on the phone and said I’m an attorney, you owe 1500 to company XYZ.  I’ll start legal proceedings in your county today if you don’t pay. (I asked him what county and he said Cook, nope and he went through 5 counties all were wrong.) We are offering you an $800 settlement.  I said you’re in SC, do you have a license to practice law in Illinois?  Dead silence.  I said my family lives in SC give me your Street address and I’ll zip a check right over.  He said we don’t do it that way.  I said because your welfare a** is probably sitting in an apt that my taxes pay for harassing people.  (I have no problem with those who need assistance I swear.) It got really nasty after that.  He told me to stick it up my butt.  I said you wash it good and I will lover man.  He hung up.  They are from some mediation resolution thing.  2 months later they called my sister looking for me.  My sister was able to coax out the name of the outfit.  I’ll ask her and post.

This number called me and two different family members asking for me. They left messages asking for my whereabouts and that the local authorities would be called. What a scam. I'm so tired of people not working hard and trying to take advantage of people.

I called back this number as it has been leaving threatening messages to my family memebers stating that I owe $1200 in cash advance loans and I asked for documentation they said nope all they can do is take a card on file. I said I’m not paying without proof then they stated I will be served and the cops and us marshalls will be at my house blah blah and as soon as I told them I will get my attorney involved they hung up. These people have no lives...Why are no one doing something about this?

I have and will definitely follow up on it Tuesday because this is ridiculous....I do appreciate your advice and I hope everyone does the same thing and report them .

Same here , wasn't my name was my spouse. Phone call occured  on Dec 20, 2017 as well .

Same thing here! Live in Maryland. I returned the call numerous times in fear as the message said something about notifying the correct authorities. Every time I called I could get no company name & each time reached a general voicemail that was full. I get calls from this number almost every other day at various times. It’s unreal what people will do to try to get money out of you. “Fear Tactics” Really????
