    Text with a link claiming to be from my medical provider. Asked for verification of my DOB and last name. Stupid me clicked the link entered my DOB and last name. Next it wanted me to create a pin. I got suspicious and backed out.

    Received a text, addressed to my first name. Claimed to have a message from my medical provider, and provided a link to click on in order to receive the message.

    Figured this was a scam since my provider either calls, emails, or sends info through the My Chart app.

    I called my doctor for my results. Minute later, I received a text from this number. I entered DOB and info and it led me to my results. not a scam.
