Old process server scam by a scam debt collector. Report to FTC and FCC

A girl named Ashley called and said she is a process server has me by my old last name didn't even have my number but has my husband's and said she's coming to my job tomorrow and if I don't show up in court they will proceed without me if she can't find me. Never knew of a process server calling to tip you off no remember them calling from a 844 number

Exact same scam, a woman,(Ashley Hartman) called me two days in a row. Do not call them back! I just block them

Must be a scam.  Call left at my dad's old phone number.  Mispronounced my name (How can you read the name with an "A" sound when it's clearly spelled with an "O?")  Said they would serve papers between 3 and 5 PM.  Nobody showed up.  Since when do process servers tell you they are coming?

Ashley called my sister one day and then called me.  Will be serving papers between 3 and 5 pm.  This is considered harrassment.

It is also considered a SCAM since a real process server would NOT warn you!!

Got a text from this number supposedly "verifying" my purchase of a MacBook for $1077 and then innocently saying: "Not you? Click here."  And giving this phone number.  What [***]

An Alex Smith called my ex-husband of almost 11 years, looking for MY DAUGHTER She is 35 years old. How they got this number for her? I have no idea? Anyway, said something about a court date and social security. {LOL} I called them back and blocked my caller ID it went to a voice mail of some sort. The name wasn't anything like the person that supposedly called, it was some other name. When calling them back, BLOCK YOUR CALLER ID so they don't get the number you are calling from.

You can't block your number when calling toll-free.

Just got a call from another number, which I didn’t answer.   The recorded incoming messsage captured on my voice mail said, “Hi, this is Kay from Spectrum to verify that your existing account is available for a 50% discount” and gave this number to call back.  I looked up Spectrum and it is an Internet, phone, and cable TV provider.  I also saw on the Google results that Spectrum reports that scammers are calling people offering a 50% discount on Spectrum but are actually fishing for personal and financial information to steal.
