Man with accent and bad connection wanted a specific IT employee.  First sent him to Purchasing, but he returned to complain about the recording, so I transferred him to the line without voicemail.

Saw this call come in as a transferred call from the switchboard and let it go to voicemail since I'm not a fan of toll free numbers with no caller ID info.  Caller did not leave a message.  Looked it up here and saw the post about how its a foreign guy looking for a specific IT employee in an organization.  I guess I'm the lucky IT employee today.

Got a voicemail to my work extension from this number at 2:45 am.  No one spoke, but I could hear someone moving/breathing on the recording, and other more distant voices.  Maybe in a call center?
I suspect it's a scam call center in another country (by that I mean not in the US).

Called asking to speak to a certain person. I told them that there are only 2 people in this office and neither of them has that name. I gave them another 800 number to call.
