Call Blocker
You need to buy a standalone call blocker, call blocking phone, use your carrier’s call blocker if they offer one, or download a free call blocking app for smart phones.  For conventional cell phones, assign the number a letter like “z” and make no ring.  You may also need to have your carrier increase the ring time to avoid having them leave a message on your voice mail.
Grant scams:

The government does not call people up and offer them free money because you paid your taxes on time, have never been arrested, have paid all your bills, or whatever excuse they can make up.  In order to get a grant you need a valid reason (not one of the above and not just because you need money), you have to fill out tons and tons of paperwork, wait a long time, and might not even get the grant in the end.

Big scam warn others off this type off scam and always tell older people they are the ones that fall for these types off scams.

My call was about having a pirated copy of Windows and was advised to go to a Microsoft store or call them back. Luckily, I am an IT guy and I wished I had a chance to talk to them to waste their time, but I was driving.  The best tack with these folks is to play along and waste as much time as you can then spoil their day.  I find that this tack gets you further down their list.
