Would like to know if Legitamite ?

Beware of ANY calls from "KBK INFOTECH" - they are scammers!  The man (who had an Eastern  Indian accent) who called me to advise that his company had received error messages from my computer and that they were certified technical specialists to rid my computer of this spyware and viruses and that if I would please be in front of my computer and he would guide me step by step as to how to get rid of the problems.  He is very willing to give his phone number, his name - "Mr. Alan" and when I asked if this was a scam, he did not say 'no', he attempted to draw me into his con by saying, "I gave you my phone number to call back, didn't I?" He tried several times to convince me to go to my computer...   DO NOT BE SCAMMED - NO LEGITIMATE COMPANY WILL EVER CALL YOU ABOUT THEM RECEIVING ANY NOTIFICATION!  Get rid of these guys!!!

Same thing happened to me but they said they were with  Windows Technical Support.  Don't let them scam you!

They will tell you that your computer has all kinds of unspecified problems based on legitimate messages in your Event Log.  They gave this number to "verify" their information but it's a scam.

Report them to the authorities.

Foreign voice with a lot of background noise of other voices talking. "You have a windows problem. Your computer is getting things downloaded on it and needed to be blocked. Make sure you turn on your computer and tell me when you are in front of it and I will tell you what to do so we can help you." Needless to say we did the opposite and turned off the computer and gave him no information. This is a scam!

A Windows problem? Is that scam getting drafty or something? You shouldn't have a Windows problem unless you did something wrong.

Same with me. Kept telling me to enter things told them I was uncomfortable and hung up

Do not trust these people!!!  I Called Microsoft they said it was a scam!!!!!!!!!

I have now gotten three calls from them and when he called today I told him there was no way he would get any information from me that he could use to access my computer and hung up. But then he called me back to yell at me!!! Total scam.

This number tried calling me today - Thanksgiving Day. Figured it was a scam and wouldn't answer it.  No legit company would call on a holiday.

do not take calls about your email being hacked it is a scam from this number

Total Scam! He said the same thing to me, called me twice. Middle Eastern Accent, saying remember last year you subscribed (which I did not subscribe to anything), he came up with my EX BF's name whom I haven't been with for well over 7 yrs (I'm happily marriage now). When I asked him specific questions of which network is my provider he circled around it multiple times. The first call he said it's simple, just give me your bank account info & I can help save your computer. The second time he said that all he has to do is link to my computer and talk me threw the problems.  HANG UP AND BLOCK THE NUMBER, GIVE NO INFO
