Voice mail claims to be OptumRX. I called back with the 7-digit code that was in the voice mail. It claims it does not recognize my phone number (then how could they call me?) Very suspicious. Then it transfers to "Clinical Services" obviously not in the U.S. (probably Filipinos). "Ina" claimed to be a pharmacist but needed my birth date and address even though I had supplied the 7-digit code.

I than called OptumRX Customer Service (sic), again obviously not in the U.S. (probably Filipinos). "Joy" claims it was a call to get me to signup for automatic refills (Note: There are several good reasons NOT to do automatic refills, other than to line the pockets of OptumRX.) (Additional Note: OptumRx's software program is terrible.)

I opted both myself and my wife from future "automated" calls. We'll see if this actually works.

They called on 05/31/2023 and 3 more times on 06/01/2023. I do not answer CIDs I do not recolonize. I called OptumRx and spoke with "Joy" (probably a fake name and most likely Filipino) and was told my wife and I would be removed from "Automated Calls". (Note: OptumRx is the online pharmacy of AARP's UnitedHealth Care .)
