This number keep call me

These people called me regarding a supposed legal claim against me.  They stated that they were  calling from the States Clerks office. They threatened me with legal action if I didn't pay the claim right then. Have turned the information over to my attorney and I am pursuing whether to file a report with the Attorney Generals office.

These number keep calling me on my cell and at work for two and they even called my mom cell going on for 2 days now. They were claiming I owe them money from a payday loan which i know i didn't make any loan and if I did not give my payment with in the hours they gave me, they have no choice but to turn  in my case to civil court. So just to play along, I asked them how do I pay? Then this person told me they don't take mail in payment only cards....so I was like this is a fraud!!!

I received a message from someone who identified herself as Genille McGuire said she was from some Division of Pre-trial Processing for the state, the state was never identified. She said I was listed as some emergency contact for someone that I have never heard of, then proceeded to leave a message for that person on my voice mail stating that they needed her to contact them to confirm their address so they could serve her with paperwork. If the person didn't contact them, then they would proceed with filing a claim. Message also said that person had the legal right to settle the case without going to court.  The number left to call back was 844-213-0038, said to reference the case # that they left, the 844 area code is not even a valid USA area code.  Makes no sense that a bonafide USA based Division of a state agency, especially if it was affiliated with a real clerk of courts, would leave some weird callback number with an area code that does not exist if this was a valid agency.  Smacks of some debt collection agency trying to contact someone.

I got the same message today March 16, 2015. Stating it is with the county clerk office in Los Angeles, But I never received any information in the mail and who this company is. It is such a scam. But why won't they stop. Calling a government line where I work......
