cot a call and a letter from this number stating that i have a $100 dollar voucher/gift card on hold for me and to call this number back with my reference number. The first time i called this guy said that his name was Owen, i accidentally hung up then i called back the same guy answered and stated that his name was max. same voice i have a really good memory with sounds i can recall lot's of things with just sounds. he never asked for my information but he already had my information. i never signed up for this website called IDSmarter.com. so i asked him how he got my information he said he was not at liability to say. OK so i go along with it. he then asked me for my credit card number to pay for the processing fee for holding and shipping my voucher/gift card to me. he said it would only cost me 1 dollar. i said no thank you since i don't have any credit cards or a bank for that matter to please take me off your call list. If you get a call from this number or if you get a letter in the mail with this number on it don't do it it is a scam.

Thank you I got the letter I have gotten others like this don't know how they do it.

I also received a post card stating I had an unclaimed reward of $100.00 good to spend at any retail store of choice.  I called the 888-213-0467 and a man with a very thick accent from India advised me in order to receive my unclaimed reward I had to supply him with a credit card number for the 1.00 processing fee. I said I did not have any credit cards so he asked if anyone else around me had one..............I said no and take me off your list.  I asked his name and could not understand his response. I asked the name of the company I was calling and he said National Promotional Company.....No such company.
Another SCAM out there to watch out for.
It makes me so mad that they have your name address and phone number.

How do these people get your information?

Just be smart and don't ever give out any information!!!

Same as the prior posts have stated.  Card in the mail to My father.  He's 90 and gets a lot of this junk praying on elderly, and I check it out.  Just for fun I called the number but never got a rep.  The zip code on the postage paid permit is Portland, Maine and 844 in the newest toll free number to get.  Our card mentioned Walmart and Target in print and I am contacting their corporate communications department and emailing a copy of the post card just for fun.

Funny. I got an email from CIBC bank asking me to call them and this was the number they provided.
