- Sandy| 2 repliesCalled three time in a row did not bother to leave a voice mail.
- Rae replies to SandySame thing happened to me just now. Called three times in a row and didn't leave a voicemail.
- RayCalled and it rang once before stopping and they left a message about a warranty on my vehicle. Never said what company they worked for just that they were in the warranty department. Definitely a scam. Not calling them back.
- AvaCalled me 2 times called them back and asked if it was about a warranty. Man said yes and I said slightly aggravated "you guys keep calling me from different numbers I don't have the car. It's very annoying." His response was "it's annoying that you people think it's the same company and quite frankly you're naïve for thinking that." Obviously it's not a company cause he didn't state his name or company he worked for. He just happened to think I still had the previous vehicle.
- July replies to SandyCalled 5/24/17 and left a VM that my vehicle's warranty has expired. Scam!
- Helenleft a message telling me that they had written to me many times about the warranty on my car which has expired. As though this is a big emergency. My car is 9 years old, so I would hope the warranty expired. Scamsters!

- DAR| 2 repliesNOTE! 844 Code means the number being called IS CHARGED FOR THE CALL! That's what 844 is all about. Debt collectors can use it legally. For others, it's crap! 2 Calls. I didn't answer.
- Caller: ?
- Gunnar replies to DARYou are INCORRECT! The party being called by an 844 number is NOT charged for the call! NOT EVER!
- BigA replies to DAR844 is your normal toll free number. For some reason people can no longer understand how an 800 type number works and have come up will all kinds of crazy ideas. Like this new one you dreamt up about how debt collectors can use it legally. Well off course they can and everyone else can as well as long as they pay for the calls made to them.

I get this same call from different callers/numbers regularly every month. If I miss it great, if I pick it up I just say I already spoke to someone about my warranty, they always get flustered and hang up. - D. Miller| 1 replyThey constantly keep calling about debts that I have nothing to do with and don't have. They need to be stopped. They have been calling almost every day for 3 years now. It's time something is done about them.

Or, if you want to read some very helpful information from another regular here on 800notes, who has done significant research into getting legal assistance for this type of scam, click on "BigA`s_Notes", below:BigA`s_NotesYou need to send them a certified, return receipt "not me" letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested). Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it. Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter. You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to. Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment. If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it. Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):
