Left a message advising that documents will be served unless I contact them to settle.

Scam call similar to ones that I have received in the past. It's been quiet for awhile, so I get these once every 6 months or so. To this day, I have never been served with anything, this is all a scam to scare people into giving them money. Here is the message that they left for me, please know that they cannot officially notify you over the phone, especially on your voicemail. They use a generic name like county mediation services to make you feel like it is official, it is not.

"Hello this is head arbitrator David Smith calling with County mediation services attempting to contact(recorded name)in regards to obtaining motions scheduled for filings with the county clerk's office. If (recorded name) would like to receive some more information on how to receive an out of court dismissal, you will need to contact the mediation department in regards to the documents being served to defendant (recorded name.) Please be advised this will serve as an official notification for (recorded name.) You may hold to be transferred directly to the office or you can contact them at 844-213-6335(robo voice). You will need to reference case number CV******You have officially been notified."

Received VM from a guy named David Smith - Said he was Head Arbitrator, and that this was a legal matter, gave a case# and said I have been notified - part of the message was his voice and part robotic-  this is crazy!

Scam caller, get these all the time....I called back and all of sudden wanted my SSN, then said since I didn't give my SSN they'll go forward with a court summons....I told them that is just fine there is no such name as county meditation services.....I just laughed at them

Received the exact same message, once yesterday on my landline and today on my cell phone.  Which county?  This call will serve as official notice????

No county identified.  And the only official notification is when Sheriff knocks on the door with papers.  I will give them props because they have done their research on me.  They called my landline, my cell phone and my 81 year old Dad.  He was a little worried about.

Same as above.  Someone calling to say they were from county mediations and this was their notification to take me to court....blah blah blah.   So I called the department of justice for my state and advised them of the matter.  They stated that it was definitely a scam or hard core debt collectors.  They legally have to send you something in writing, they have to give you their information such as their address, who the debt is with.  If they do take you to court they can only collect the court costs and the amount due, not the thousands they threaten you with.  They cannot notify your employer.  I love to argue with them and get them all flustered.  It's kinda fun.

My cousin received a call today from 844-213-6335 from David Smith saying the exact words he left for Cheryl. I’m not paying a dime for a debt that can’t be validated and they should not be leaving those types of messages with third parties, which is a violation. I

They left two (2) messages advising the same thing as listed above. Unfortunately for them, I work in a law office and I called the number identifying myself by the law firm's name. The individual who answered the phone (who answered 'Law Office') placed me on hold as soon as I advised her that I work for a law firm and wanted to know what this agency is. SCAM! You should not need to transfer a call to anyone or ask anyone what the name of your place of business is if you are indeed legitimate.

Call after call from this number. I refuse to answer and they refuse to leave a voicemail.

They called my nephew first and then called me.  Funny thing is my nephew is not even associated with me online and I do not even have my nephews cell phone.  They called my employer previously and I had already retired.  I will be filing a report with my local police.
