They called a relative asking for my information and left this return phone number along with a claim number. I have no idea how they would have gotten my relative's number, but I'm upset that they are calling family members regarding my supposed "legal matter". They claim to be Midwest (an apparent debt collection agency, named just "Midwest" no LLC or Group in the company title, or anything, and I cannot find them online) collecting a debt I owe from CMG group (payday loan). They claim that I could either pay them today to stop the "locator" from finding me and giving me papers, and once I get the papers then they can't help me anymore... yet they can't tell me anything about the locator or the papers or answer any of my questions at all. My gut told me not to trust them, and everything I have researched online shows this to be some type of scam. Do not give them money or information, know your rights, do your research!

received a call from 844-213-8534 asking for daughter's phone number and address. She is 30 yrs. old and I don't know how my personal cell phone number was acquired by these scam artists. They also said they were "locator" and gave a claim number but  wouldn't/couldn't give any more information to me or my daughter.

They have left multiple messages on my phone and I also hung up on them.  I have no idea what claim they are talking about but I do know they want to get into your checking account to withdraw your money as they want your bank info.  DO NOT talk to these scammers.

A few months ago I recieved calls from this number and they would never leave a message. When I answered they said that they were presenting me with a claim but only wanted my info. They didnt want to provide me with info when I told them that I didnt know any thing about it. I got another call today after not hearring any thing for awhile. The same thing! She gave me an 800 number to call and a claim number. I reached Midwest. I dont know what they are but something doesnt seem right. Apparently I only have 30 min to call them and get some thing worked out. Seems like a scam
