Don't recognize this no. They left vague voicemail.

It is a scam. Saying they are from an internet security company and your IP address has been compromised. Your internet will be shut off in 24 hrs unless you call them back. When you call them back, they ask (in a very thick accent) for your IP address so they can fix it? I asked them to verify with me what it is, they said I had to verify it with them. I told them I wasn't going to give my IP address over the phone, and that they needed to verify with me. They refused, so I knew it was a scam. Just in case, call your internet provider to find out the truth.

Same as above.  Telling me that my IP address was compromised.  I contacted my internet provider and they told me they would investigate this.  They also said there is no internet security company that monitors IP addresses and if there was an issue with my IP address they would be the ones to contact me.

Just received a phone call from this number and they did leave a message. Usually you'll get a hang up when the answering machine picks up! Very intimidating call and can probably frighten a lot of people who may call back and even provide them with their IP address! My first rule with our computer age: DO NOT PROVIDE ANYONE WITH ANY INFORMATION ABOUT ANYTHING until you are confident it is safe to do so! Verify first.

This morning the fraudulent caller used all phone numbers in my house to vomit the same garbage. I wonder if Candian RCMP should be informed. Canada must build a firewall to A. Detect who these thugs are B. Make them public knowledge and put them in JAIL

I have received a call from 844-238-9102 today.  I wish there was a way to stop this crap from happening.....usually get a fraudulent call at least once monthly.  Who are these people and what do they gain from attempting to extract this information from the public?????

They want access to your computer so they can load malware on it then charge you to remove it. Ignore all cold calls claiming there are problems with your computer, cloud accounts or internet service.  If in doubt call a known, safe number for the services to verify if there really is a problem.

Received a voicemail today from a robotic voice, saying that our IP address has been compromised from 'several countries', and our internet will be cut off unless we phone back.

Ummm....our provider is Shaw, and I seriously doubt that any reputable provider would contact its customers in this way.
