Got a voicemail on my cell this morning, some lady telling me that or my lawyer needs to call her back at 404-418-8722.  I Checked Mr. Number and here's what people said, http://mrnumber.com/1-844-240-0723.  You don't leave a name of a company, and no company name on the caller id?  Probably a BS company, and won't be getting a call back, I do have debts, but none of them are even close to being at the point where I need a lawyer.  I called this number back and after about 10 rings got a generic answering machine message, no company name nothing, (HUGE RED FLAG).  So I'm going to do what I usually do in this case, ignore and block the number.  I called the 404 number, it rang once and was told "The person at extension 101 is unavailabe, please leave a message."  Again no company name, no name of a person at that extension.  I'm calling a scam.

At the top of the page for Mr. Number, this message is in a big red box--1-844-240-0723 is not a valid number. If you are sure that you got a phone call from a number beginning with this prefix, the caller may have 'spoofed' caller ID.

From what I could find, its probably a scam, I would just block the number and move on.

Received a call from this number, but they did not leave a message.
Jeff, from your report I would say this is a scam call. Spoofing a toll free number to leave a non toll free number.
They must be rookies.

Got a call yesterday from phone number  404-418-7800, for some reason didn't get notified about the voice mail until right now. It is some guy that is literally yelling into the phone telling me that I need to either call this number back RIGHT NOW, or press one RIGHT NOW!! Ummm, your talking to my voicemail, how can I press one you moron?  Anyways, I did and am going to do what I ususaly do. I googled the number, and put it on my block list, I will be filing a report with IC3, the FTC, FCC and my Attorney states general later on today.
