Bill collectors are pretty creative now a days!  The caller stated they are trying to serve a warrant and make arrest.....called the number back and they answered "Legal 1"....OK....I called the Sheriff's Dept, gave name, DOB, and id #, No warrants, all clear...Looks like I owe another bill!

Just got the same call. Saying I have two count of check fraud and two warrants out for my arrest. I proceeded to ask the lady questions and she hung up on me.

I also pulled up the public records in my county and nothing, it did scare me though.

Got a call yesterday from this number ans said if I didnt pay $1378.21 for bad check debt  by 4:00 then I would be arrested. I actually went to an attorney and it was all a scam...Hate those people!!!!

This lady claims that the security system that was installed last year on my has been breached. No one installed a security system, and I have received these calls, about my computer's security system on numerous occasions. I never answer the phone because I don't know the number.

Called to tell me my computer was infected. I guess they would like to hack my computer.

Calls and says they are from Dell about a security breach on a installed program ! My computer came with it installed??!!! Driving me crazy!

That does not look like a Dell number.  If you go to the Real and Official Dell web site and enter your express service code, there should be info about that specific computer and if there was a security breach, it would be noted there.  If a new unit, Dell should have e-mailed you as well.

I am 99% sure that this is one of the scammers who wants to get on your computer, and either install programs that will allow him to get sign in and password info to banking, credit cards, fb, anything and everything.  Or they may just try and tell you that your computer has viruses, etc, and change you $$$$ to do nothing.

Caller (this tie a she) claims "they" installed software on my computer ";last year", and now their equipment detects a malfunction.  This is a lie, and they called me with the same lie last year.  Fraud!  They want $300 for repairs.  Report it to the FTC do not call list and include message.

This number calls me multiple times a day and never leaves a message.

I have gotten about 4-5 calls from this number 1-844-240-2047 stating that there maybe a security breach on my computer and that it is being flagged on there end and to call back. I called the number back and asked the guy who answered, who they work for, why they are calling, etc. I was told they work for windows 10 etc and wanted my name and phone number etc. I refused to give my info out as i never did call them last year. Total scam..

Have been getting calls relentlessly about a security breach on my computer. I don't answer the calls. SCAM!!!! Keep a record of the calls and report them to the FCC.

NEVER respond to calls re warrants for arrest. As an attorney, I can tell you that it's not how it works. You would get a knock on the door by law enforcement or an official letter. Don't let these [***] scare you.

ever since my husband was scammed with a virus on our mac last summer, at least 3 times a week, this same # calls and bores me to death with a recorded message about a security software, red flag, [***] stuff... and I want them to stop calling me because it wastes my time and energy.  I will never send them any money, and they are creative, sometimes its another # 1-844-248-6949, or even 1-866-758-1262. They are the frauds and trying to bully people they have scammed themselves, it's what I think.

Yes, they are probably the ones that scammed my husband last year by making him believe that our computer had a virus and in fact they planted one.  Now they were expecting to be paid for their helpful ways to get rid of the virus they gave us and they call at least 3 times a week.  I hate them they are so annoying, and same as DM said.  We had to go through Apple for our mac and it was definitely a scam and now they pretend to be concerned about our "red flag" but they just want us to send money I suppose.  I heard that if they don't get the money the virus they planted in the person's computer could be made to block the user from his files or photos and then the only way to get them back is to pay them.  I have never returned their calls but I am very sick and tired of the woman's annoying message.  any ideas how to get them to stop calling??????????  thanks for reading my rant!

I agree, it's part 2 of their virus scam, and I'm sick and tired of their constant phone calls.  They are total a** ho**s! I have even 2 or 3 other numbers they use to call us :  1-866-758-1262, also 1-844-248-6949, always the same message.  I will never call them back, but who is the FCC, because reporting them might make me feel a bit better, thanks!
