received a call from this number. they are trying to fraud you, giving you a number to call back  because canada revenue agency has criminal charges against you. i didnt call back, but likely want you to give information or your credit card. BEWARE

I had the same call. The number they provide in your voicemail is 844-240-3507 but the number from which they call is +42403507 and it does not work. The message said that I had to contact my local police for charges. They claim to be from the income investigation of Canada... sketchy

I actually received this call at my work number. Says it was the investigation unit for Revenue Canada. Also mentioned local police for charges. I'd say it's a scam as there are numerous people that work in the office & it's a multi-line system. Robotic voice did not give a name as to whom the 'so-called' investigated person was. Perhaps the first person that would actually fall for it?? Do they think people are that gullible?

I just received a phone call an 844-240-3507 number stating that I was under investigation for defrauding the Canadian Government from 2011-2014 and that I will be prosecuted if I did not pay the outstanding balance of $1100. I hung up on them immediately. It's definitely a scam. Beware.

Left a voice mail stating they're from Canada Revenue Agency just like the earlier comments. Probably related to the iTunes card scam?

I received similar to the above today in my answer machine.  I will ignore it, since they did not even address to any person in my household.  Sounded like a scam.

Got the same thing. I am so broke if anything Revenue Canada owes me money😂😂 definitely a scam
