Someone claiming to be an "investigator" called my sister's cell phone number looking for me. It feels like a 'scam"

I received a phone call from My ex husband saying this guy had contacted him. I called the number and this guy is requesting money but couldn't give me any info regarding a loan i supposedly took out but used my ex husband as a refrence. Sad part is the year I supposedly took out this loan was a year before I met my ex husband. my phone rang agaim with this number but no one on the other line

I have gotten several calls from this 844-240-6580 claiming to be an investigator for fruad accounts department.  The same man has called my work number twice and cell number twice.  The last call i received i told him not to call my work number anymore and that if he was involved with a collection dept. then by law he has to stop calling my work number.  He claimed i owed money on a bogus account with Household Bank (a credit card).  However he did happen to know the name of the county i lived in 6 years ago.  I ask him for an explaination of debt statement, he claimed that was not his job to supply proof, he was simpy informing me that i was going to have papers served on me, but he did ask for payment over the phone. (really.....) I wasn't born yesterday.
