I got a call and they left no message.

Called twice, no VM. Blocked.

Called me twice leaves no voicemail and when I answered nobody said anything. Blocked number

This caller has called my cell number 5 times today and  leaves no message. I dont ever answer a caller I dont recognize so this call will never be answered but its annoying!

Calls 5 or 6 times a day..no message and nothing when I answer it's my work phone so I have to answer when I can pissed me off

Fingerhut call at least 6-9 x's aday. Even if you talk to them. Sometimes they don't  say anything.

No.  It means that you are misinformed and spreading rumors.

844 is a North American toll-free non-geographic code.  It was opened for assignment by the FCC in or about February, 2014, almost a year and a half ago.

Whether the caller from your particular 844 number is legitimate or whether the number is spoofed may be another issue.  But if you start from an incorrect premise and apply illogical reasoning based on that premise, you'll never get anywhere sensible.

AND if I do not have an account with Fingerhut, and they keep calling? Don't assume that it means people haven't paid their bills!
