This is a scam. They claim to be from the U.S. Social Security office. They're not.

I got a missed call, an automated voicemail was left saying that social security legal action would be taken. I called back and they asked for my social security number. I almost gave it, but when I asked why they needed it, they hung up every time. The guy sounded very foreign and suspicious.

It was put into voice mail. It said it was social security and your social security  was compromised so they suspended the number.  It's a scam. Didn't even say the name of person they were calling.

This number left a voicemail stating legal action would be pursued. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor. The foreign accented male then hung up.

I think this is a scam, the VM from automated says

"Ignoring this will be an intentional attempt to avoid mission appearance before the magistrate judge or____ for a federal criminal offense so before this matter goes to federal courthouse or before you get arrested kindly call us back on our department number which is 844-245-2384 I repeat 844-245-2384 hope to hear from you soon before the charges are pressed against you thank you..."

They said that my social security number has been compromised and that if I did not call them back that I would be summon to court

Called said from social security.  Scam.

They called and said it was to do with my social security number and I would be arrested and summon to court. they did not ask for any person or state any social security number. You got to know this is a total scam artist. Everyone who gets this call REPORT IT! So ACTION can be taken against THEM.

Caller left message saying legal action would be taken.  It is a total scam.  I blocked this number.

I received an automated voicemail message the same or similar to what JQDS reported.
