Number called me threatening to locate me ? If I didn’t get in touch with them ? And filing a court date in my county ?

Someone keeps calling me threatening me. Telling they are filing court papers, will locate me etc. No idea who it is and if you call back no one answers.

I called to see who it was , some lady said this is mechele , and I hung up . Decided to call back and now no one is answering ..... will call back tomorrow...

The called me and my brother and my sister saying my dad owes them money and they gave me a file #.
844-245-6977 Must be a scam.  Wow.  They even said they were my Hometown County Court.  How did they have all of our information?  They said my dad was due in court and we needed to locate him immediately.   (June 2020)

Yes same, this is Disgusting.  They are preying on my 70 year old parents.  How disturbed are these scam artists!  My mom reported this to her bank to investigate

I have received 2 calls coming across as unknown on caller ID, but they leave a message threatening to file court case in my County if I do not respond by calling  844-245-6977. They have also called other family members and have threatened to call my employer .. The kicker is I am not hiding from any one and its easy to find anyone's address these days so I am sure this is just another scam to scare people into paying them money

Yes they calle me again today saying I’m hiding someone.  I’m calling my county court to let them know there is a scam.  They said the company name is “American” and they have NO WEBSITE & NO ADDRESS.  Complete lies

They called me again today about my relative.
The CASE # they gave was opened in 1996 and EXPUNGED in 2014.
I called my home county court and they said the case has NOTHING TO DO WITH MY RELATIVE.

DO NOT SEND THEM $.
"Michell Summers" was the name of the caller.
She said NO WEBSITE
She said NO ADDRESS
She said company name is "American"

did they actually contact your employer ?

They probably didn't. They're just trying to scare you into paying what is quite possible a non-existent debt. If they call you again, tell them to follow the law by MAILING you proof of the debt.
