Called left message said there is a criminal matter against us left phone number and case no said someone would be hear to serve court papers called from unknowen number his name michale Freeman

I have received a couple calls from this number and the first time a message was left by a woman who sounded drunk.. her words were slurred and she was smacking her lips but anyway thats beside the point.... The lady in the message stated that if i did not contact the number provided with 24 hours i would be served court papers at work or home. I returned the call and left a message giving my information. They called back the next day and left another message. Anyway i dont like playing phone tag and i just want to know if this is a scam or not.
