this number harrasses my mother about putting me in jail for a defaul on a property I've never owned?  what kind of scam is that?

This is a total scam.   Huntington Group (whatever that is) has a long history of using shady collection techniques.  Not only shady but down right criminal.  You can't be arrested for ordinary civil debt.  Civil debt is a civil matter.  But they are tryng to scare you into paying them something.   This is a favorite trick of these Huntington scammers.  They call you up and say there's something legally wrong with a property (they say) you own and you have to call them back.   They are trying to scare you.  Nothing more--and then try to get money from you.

Don't fall for it.  Tell them, if they call you again that you know this is a scam and that you are reporting them.  I have been trying to find out where they are located but other than somewhere in Southern California, I have no idea where they are located.

Invest in a call blocker.  Block their calls!

They continue to bother  you, tell them you are going to the police to make a complaint of extortion.  THEN DO IT!  You are a victim of an attempted extortion.

This people call almost every day from that phone and from 714-202-9831 which is located in Anaheim, The first time they called said  they were trying to collect a credit card debt that is not mine but the company´s for which I worked, besides, that debt already expired by statute of limitations and there is not any judgement on me. After that  first call they are leaving messages, they know the address of each of my properties and are  threatening with ¨there is some issues involving your property" and the address of each.
