Nor, is NOT comcast. This phone number is scam

One voicemail, same speech as other posts.  Then a call.  Yep, same basic script.  Did not give info to him yet this man knew a lot about my account.  Asked where he was calling from.  "Offshore" he says.  Told him if this was truly Comcast/Xfinity I woud need an email from with the phoone number of the local office.  He didn't like that one bit and ended the convresation quite quickly.  Strangely (LOL) I have not received an email from him.

It is NOT Comcast. I called them today and said it’s a scam!

Got call from man saying my service needed a tech to improve a problem..  I was not getting On Demand.  He did not know what was wrong.  After I made the appointment and read comments here I went to my Xfinity web account and it was listed that a service tech  was scheduled, so  it seems legit.

Same call, twice. I called Xfinity on their regular customer support number (always painful convincing the robot to let me talk to someone real) and they verified it was a real call from them regarding an onogoing concern regarding the signal in our line.

Got this call, callerID said, "Unknown" and claimed it was Comcast. Said, "If you're still having service problems, please call the number (as mentioned above)."

Found that to be suspicious. Blocked the number.

Received a call from 844-251-3974 I did not answer. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. The message said to call the number back to confirm appointment I don't have any appointments scheduled with anyone and I'm having no issues. The caller left no company name. I blocked the number.

Same situation. unsolicited. called comcast  c/s and it IS  legit. Still trying to find out why they're coming, waiting for a callback.

5 days in a row and counting, Comcast in regards to a complaint I filed. Which of course I have not filed anything with them, except this irritating bs.

Same thing about problem with Comcast and need to get into home to check equipment. Scam just to get into home

Scan as mentioned above. First call the gut didn't speak English, second call guy spoke perfect English

I get AT&T calls several times a week offering a discount. I block the number, but they just call me from another number.

Harassing my number & it’s annoying

I received the exact same message twice on 10/8/2021

They called me. He said my internet has issue and they have to send some people over and I contacted Comcast directly and they said it is true.
So weird.

Comcast called to make an appt to come check my equipment. I was suspicious and she spoke in a foreign accent. So I checked my Comcast account and it says appt and Comcast sent me a text an email reminding me off appt. I still called them and it is legit but the call seemed suspect.

Comcast is so fishy anymore. Have had these calls daily for a week. Always an indian individual on the phone. One time they said they were with another company altogether and they wanted in my home for an hour. Wtf! Now today they say they are from comcast, and they need to get in to check loose connections. I told them I'd call the main number back and verify. He said you have a specific problem that requires a specific technician. I am ready to cut ties with comcast. They frequently had people calling that sounded 3rd party to change my plan up. I do not like how they seemingly sub contract work out. I used to be able to talk to domestic workers on the phone and it was seamless. Now seems every interaction with them seems scammy.

Claimed to be from Comcast (I have Xfinity, same difference). Claimed network monitoring system had picked up a problem and wanted to schedule an appointment. Knew my name and address which is scary.
