Scam. Said I was past due on my Amazon credit card payment with Synchrony Bank. Never had that card activated. Clearly lifted the Amazon logo and Synchrony Bank logo too. Beware. They ask for social to identify you. Do not call this number back.

Thanks guys. Thank God I Googled the Phone number 844-252-6966 before I called. And to think I possibly would have called thinking it was Amazon. But then again, I wouldn't have ever given information to anyone. If they ask me to give information to them, I immediately know something is wrong. GOOGLE EVERYTHING

Keeps calling; annoying.

I didn't Googl;e but did call bank and closed debit card before they could hit account, which they already did but it won't go through. Off to get a new debit card. Did call Amazon and let them know their name was being used in vain.

Contacted me via email stating that I owed a past due balance of 86.54

Emails every month to say account is past due. Looks very real. Googled actual bank number and called them to confirm I didn’t have an account.

Since I have not used an Amazon store card, I thought I would Google the number. My search result came up with the 800 notes page and I read so many other accounts with this number being fraudulent. I will be contacting Amazon with this information.

What exactly do you think that Amazon, who probably already knows about this, can do with this information?
