Message allegedly from Microsoft

Windows logo pops up and says I have been hacked...call the number above to have a technicial call me to fix it. Scammers everywhere.  Be careful.

got a blue microsoft pop up saying someone from china, germany, or bahamas used my ip address to log on to suspicious sites and may have left me with a virus, can't get the virus removed unless the 844 number is called and a tech is talked to, no, thanks guys, nice try

I received an email saying I had been hacked and to call this number. Email looked authentic and seemed very much like it was from Microsoft. Gave URL to contact also

Received 2  Email which seemed very much like Microsoft saying "we have found suspicious login attempt on your computer"   One dated January 25, 2018, the other January 23, 2018. Location: Beijing, Russia, N.Korea.  Lots more

You will receive either an email or popup saying they are Microsoft and your computer has been having foreign communication with other computers (e.g. Russia, Korea, etc.).  Firstly, they are NOT Microsoft, they are Indian/Pakistani scammers.  Your PC (mac or windows) does not send info to Microsoft/Apple that they in turn message you about in any way. They want to "diagnose" (scam you) into thinking you have 'foreign IP addresses' communicating with your computer. Trust me, they don't have ANY way of knowing this!!  Unless you call Microsoft/Apple at a known number, never EVER give these people your credit card info, EVER!!!  Complete SCAM!

We don't send messages like this, they are a SCAM!  I bet they have Indian accents right?

Got a blue email from Microsoft Windows Support Center  stating someone hacking me from North Korea & China I.P. address 127.29.217.255 on Feb. 5, 2019  gave me ref. no. AZ3257 and to call 800-259-2351 for "tech help". I have not responded.  Please advise
