If you received a call from this number, it's associated with Atlantic City Electric.

I do not think this is valid. I picked up this number because I was told it was AC electric by other suggestions, but I was hung up on immediately when I answered.

This is a SCAM!  They pretend to be calling from Atlantic City Electric saying you owe them past due amounts, trying to get your identity and personal information. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. If you want to check if Atlantic City Electric wants to talk with you, call Atlantic City Electric at their REAL number: 1-800-642-3780​​

Left a message for Robert -- whose name is on account but is not listed with this phone number they called
I never give info to anyone who calls me--I called electric company directly-- I am already paid in full & they said it must be scam

Don't even identified who is calling.

Left a message saying they are calling about my account. This is the second time. I googled the number and says it’s a scam.

Actually, legit:  past due  account is in my name but (supposed to be) someone else’s responsibility.  Got a call from this number, they left a message referencing a notice recently no sent by mail (true) and asking me to call the MAIN NUMBER 800-642-3780 Monday through Friday 7A - 7P for further information.  Then said “if we’ve reached this number in error press 1, if you no longer wish  to receive auto-dialed calls from Atlantic City Electric press 9 otherwise thank you and goodbye”.
So, don’t know about others’ experiences, but number is being used by A.C. Electric as of NOV 2022.  Also, no you answer, they should be score to use stored payment info, so you don’t have to  give them any payment info that they don’t already have.
