Trying to collect payday loan I never got. Mr. Armstrong say I received a $400.00 loan on 12/7/2011. He says he is with Delaware Solution and says the loan was thru 7 group LLC

I just received a call from a Mr. Armstrong stating that I borrowed money in August 2012. Which I do not recall.  He demands that I give him some payment to settle this matter or we will meet in court and pay a lot more money than I owe...  Mr. Armstrong starts to raise his voice as I was asking questions and said I am acting like I never did such a thing.  I know I did not that's why I was asking the question. So, Mr. Armstrong start calling me a liar that I owed the money I use it and now I have thing like I do not always. Please be careful this is all going around again it happen to me in the past.

I received a call from Mr. Armstrong on February 6th...and did not return his phone call.  He left a message and stumbled over his words so I knew it was a scam.  He called again today, February 9th.  This time I called him back.  As soon as I stated my name he placed me on hold for about 45 seconds to a minute (I assume to gather himself).  He proceded to tell me I had a payday loan through Corner Stone using a Wells Fargo account and that he was a debt collector and they were suing me for $400.00.  I told him I wanted Corner Stones number because I do not recall getting a payday loan in 2007 for $400.00.  He told me I couldn't get Corner Stones number and that I had to deal with him.  As the call escalated do to me asking more and more questions he proceded to get more irate.  I asked him to send me paperwork stating I owed this amount and I would gladly pass it on to my lawyer.  He proceded to tell me that the call was being recorded, so I told him to make sure he brings the recording to court on whatever day that will be.  Next thing I heard was a dial tone.  The next time he calls he will be notified that my local police department has his number and will be investigating him.  This is a scam beware!

Just got the same call - did not answer and put it on blocked call list.  don't have time to listen to their [***]!!!

Got a call from Mr. Armstrong.  Said he was from and then mumbled something incomprehensible.  Said process servers tried to serve me with a 1099C and couldn't do so.  Said I would therefore be garnished.  Call then disconnected in the middle of the next sentence.  form 1099C is an IRS form reporting a cancelled debt.

Have also been getting calls from Delaware solutions and Clear Credit.  All sound like the same person.

SCAM!!
