Someone trying to get money from me through bogus revenue Canada call.

Just got the automated message as well, asking to speak to my laywer for tax evasion.

1-844-263-2387 is being used by fraudsters and scam artists (calls typically in an Indian/South Asian accent) to pretend being a CRA auditor and warning of legal action due to tax evasion

Number just called. Left a message similar to above. CRA scammers.

Got the same voice mail about wanting to talk to my lawyer. When I called them out twice for being a scam they hung up on me. I'm livid.

got a message saying "don't disregard this call. Il called back. Man identified as CRA (canada revenue agency)and asked for my name. When  I questioned him he hung up

This is such a silly scam. Do people fall for this? Why would cra call with a dialer and ask to have a lawyer call them back?

Person stating they are an officer with Revenue Canada. I had better call back or I was going to be in bad need of a lawyer.

Got same message today from this number pretending to be bogus CRA agent with Indian accent on my cell phone that I do not share with anyone but my close family! How does this call come to me? Who the hell is making these calls? How can I report this? I live in Ottawa and know CRA would never make a call like this!

I just got a similar call.  Seemed like a dutch or european accent.  They wanted to speak to my lawyer on an urgent basis with regards to a tax fraud.

I received message twice about tax invasion and get a hold of my lawyer
