Person calling claim to have my SSI # a claim was file against me they guy that I spoke with claim your number must been in our system from a old client that use have my # that BS and please stop try to scam people times are hard for everyone get off your [***] and get a Job and stop try to find the way to get over on people please!!Q!!!!!!!!

Called twice stated I had bill snd they did not say their business name.

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

This place has left pre-recorded messages for me about a case associated with my SSN.  I ignored them, and reported them to the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau.  Now they are calling my friends.  I'm contacting my attorney today, as well as calling the CFPB again.

Threatening  calls, once I said I'm reporting  this number  he said he didn't give a fuc* then called me a hoe.
Said his name was Mr. Sanders with the legal department
