Scammer posing as FPL stating the power will be shut off within the next 45 minutes if payment is not made due to account being overdue. Gave (844) 263-3289 as phone number to call back. Called FPL directly at (800) 966-4875 ensured that accounts were up to date and were not infact overdue and was informed by FPL that this is a scam and the authorities are aware.

Called & said our account was past due, but we have auto draft, so I knew this was a scam. Said for me to go to CVS & buy a card card called money pak & that I could pay the balance.
They ironically couldn't give me my account number. Stay away....scums of the earth.

jacob Williams called business and he stated that the Gas will be cut off in the next hour and for me to go to CVS or Family dolllar and get 2cards called money pak and call him back with the number I called my friends and they told me it was a scam  he called me back rushing me to send the money we googled the number and it showed it was an scam same number that called me requesting others to do the same.

We just received this same scam call. Didn't have the information of the account just directed us to call the number for more information. Said they were calling from "Duke Energy"

Called our practice saying they have not received payment and are coming to shut the power off within the hour if we do not pay. The business account is on auto draft. Don't get scammed by these horrible people.

One "call center" called and said they were "Duke Energy" and that no payment had been received for more than 2 billing cycles. For me to call this number. I did - they said they needed to call the "disconnect team" to keep them from shutting my power off....  I had already received letters from Duke Energy warning of this scam. While I was on hold I googled the number and found this. I just went ahead and hung up.

Same thing. Called from "Duke" talking about the power. Our acct is on draft, so I knew this was fake. Still annoying tho!

Just got the same call that others posted...SCAM!

I just got a call from this number and they tried to get me to go to a local store and make a cash payment or my power would be cut off in 20 minutes. I called Duke Power and everything was fine with my account.

Same story as those above. We are in California and the caller said he was from Pacific Gas & Electric. I almost fell for it the last time even though years ago I worked for PG&E - I just panicked that our store would not have electricity over the weekend and thought I could straighten it out eventually. It makes sense that they are working this scam right before the biggest retail weekend of the year!

Jacob Williams from PG&Esaying our power was to be shut off in 40 minutes. Didn't even let him get to the part where he would advise me to get a money card. We are a business and of course they are calling right before Black Friday. Reported them to the real PG&E

This is a large, well organized scam group based out of Mexico. Everyone you speak with has very "American" names but ALL with heavy Latino accents. Depending what time of day you call the number back you will get Duke Energy, Con-Edison, Puget Energy, Pacific Power and Lighting, etc. The name appears to change every 6-8 hours. The one that calls himself Mr. Jenkins is a handful. He is Colombian and gets irate if you refer to him as Mexican. Duke Energy in NC states that they have been hitting their business customers hard and that they are working with the FBI.

Got a call from this number stating that they are with National Grid, which my company does not even use, stating that we missed a payment and need to pay the bill within 30 mins or the electricity will be shut off. That was this morning and it is still on because I never called them back. i asked if i could call back due to high volume traffic in my store and this is the number they gave to me.

Call saying they were from National Grid coming to shut of the power.  Stated they email one of our company emails, had that right! but its the sales email on the internet.  Want the Money Back cards for payment.  Went we check we were current.  Tried reporting the scan to authorities, other than taking a report not interested in tracing these scammers

It’s a scam. They just called told me they were from Nat Grid. My power will be shut off in an hour.

Just called our small business and said they were National Grid and they were going to shut off power in 20 mins.  We are up to date on our bills.  When you call them back at 844-263-3289 they even have a National Grid type recording at the beginning, but it is a scam! I hope nobody falls for this.

Said I was being sued need to give my address .i asked who worked for he said he worked for mrs Williams
